Infection Free Zone - Behind the scenes and Community Challenge

Greetings, Survivors!
We are starting a new post series on Steam for Infection Free Zone called "Behind the scenes". If you want to check what we are currently working on and see those little things we are proud to present, come to our Steam page and check the news section. You can go to part 1 (Demolition of Buildings) HERE.
We were thinking for a very long time about what to do with the stretch goals from our Kickstarter campaigns. It felt like a waste, not having them included at least partially in the game on launch. That's why we have decided to run a community challenge on Steam! In order to unlock the "Expeditions" stretch goal, we need to reach 5 000 followers on Steam before March 2022.
So all that you need to do is go to our Steam Page and click on the "Follow" button. This way you will not only help the community with reaching this goal but you will also be notified about all the news from the development of our game. Including the "Behind the scenes" series mentioned above.
More about this Community Challenge HERE.

Greetings, Survivors!
The Kickstarter campaign is over. We are fully funded and extremely happy to have all of you on board with us. The real journey only begins, as you are still yet to see the outcome of our hard work! We haven't managed to reach the 25 000 € stretch goal, but we are so, so thankful for all of you who have tried to help us with it. We have seen you increasing the pledges on the Kickstarter, motivating us on Discord, letting us know that you were trying to talk with influencers about the "Sponsor" reward. That's absolutely incredible and we are honored to have a community like this!
Next steps
As you probably know by now, we want to launch a very early beta build towards the end of Q1 in 2022. It means that all the backers who have chosen a Scavenger pledge tier or higher will receive access to it in around 5 months. IT might seem like a lot of time, but we will do our best to show you some new content at least once a month until then! :)
Feedback
All feedback is valuable to us! Remember that we are always happy to read about your thoughts regarding Infection Free Zone. If you have a certain opinion about the trailer itself, wonder what will be available or not in the game - let us know about it! In here, in the Steam Discussions, on Discord. We are making this game for you and we want to be sure that you are happy with it! The same goes for the suggestions - as it is still very early in the development cycle, there is a higher chance that some of your ideas may end up implemented in the game.
Thank you once again and see you soon!
Best regards,

Help us reach Expeditions stretch goal!

Greetings, Survivors!
There are less than 48 hours left before our Kickstarter campaign is over! Help us with making that one last push in order to reach the Expeditions stretch goal!
Expeditions
What we can tell about the expeditions so far:
- They would allow you to travel through adjacent zones of your chosen city, out of your zone construction area.
- As you never know what will happen during an expedition, you should always provide your expedition team with the best gear possible.
- The outcome of an expedition varies heavily! You might end up finding a bunch of resources, a special event, a new weapon or vehicle, having an encounter with a new ally... Or a new enemy.
- It's a 25 000€ stretch goal. We only need 3700€ more!
Visualization
This is the early visualization of the expedition screen. It would allow you for an easy movement through the adjacent zones to discover new events, settlements, vehicles, weapons, and resources. What do you think about this concept?

Congratulations, Survivors!
Infection Free Zone is officially 100% funded! We are extremely thankful for your support and want you to know that we are super proud to have every single one of you on board with us!
Stretch Goal - Expeditions
Stretch goal? Why not! We are fully aware that some people are deciding on backing the campaign at the very last moment. That's why Kickstarter campaigns usually gather the most funding at their start and at the end. Reaching 25 000€ is still absolutely possible so we will keep on having our fingers crossed!
Other Stretch Goals
We receive many questions about the other stretch goals and what will happen to them. Well, the honest answer is that it's hard to say at this point. This Kickstarter campaign has been launched very early and there's still a lot of work in front of us. In Q1 2022 we want to provide the eligible backers with an early beta build, to see your feedback. Depending on it, we might prioritize some features or drop the others. The current stretch goals have a chance to become a DLC in the far, far future. On the other hand - maybe we will add some completely new unannounced mechanics to the base game? You never know. But we will do our best to make this game fun for you to play!
Concept Art of the Day
Headquarters. Did everyone go to celebrate the Kickstarter success? That's what we think!
Big thank you to all of you once again! It's an honour and a pleasure to have a community like you and we are happy to see your excitement about this project. We will keep on working hard on Infection Free Zone!

Greetings, Survivors!
"90% of all statistics are made up" - unknown internet stranger
Do you know what's not made up though? Your incredible support for Infection Free Zone! Over the last week, we have gone from 70% to 90% funding! That's a really great result and we hope that we can keep it up! Let's make it a success together!
Our Inspirations
As many of you have already noticed, Infection Free Zone is inspired by many games and movies. When it comes to video games, we were inspired by Frostpunk, Banished, Endzone - A World Apart and of course 911 Operator/112 Operator. For movies and TV shows it's I Am Legend, World War Z, and The Walking Dead. Are there some other great video games and movies that Infection Free Zone reminds you of?
Concept Art of the Day
It would be a common sense to use guns against the infected. But did you know that infected are also sensitive to light? Consider it a great defensive tool!
